Something special! - 2387cc - Flanged Crank - 2.4L Air cooled VW engine - This came from an estate clearance and so I only have the information I have gleaned from looking at the parts - It has been built up and left on a bench for (Many?) years.. I had no option but to strip it to see what it is? It is dirty from sitting, I have not cleaned anything on stripping it, One piston ring was trapped and so needs replacing and the barrel needs a hone, I believe it has 94mm pistons and a 86mm Stroke, Scat flanged Crank, It has never been run, the parts all look new other than the CB Performance heads (Cb Performance Street eliminators - 38mm+42mm), Straight Cut cam Gears (CSP?), AS21 Case, H beam Rods, 4065 Camshaft, wiseco pistons? - Please check the photos, come take a look. Measure, check, research etc. I am not an hot engine expert and so you must check it for yourself - I recon there is over £8000 of parts when new.. £4000 for the lot.. |
