The Story of JAZ1302 – Trials beetle
Nov 2022 – This is JAZ, he has been parked for nearly 21 years. Murray has owned him for 41 years and he has gone from regular road car with a bit of Trialing (for both Murray and Les?, the previous owner) to full Trials car. Back in the day (Late 1990s) Murray (Hazel) and JAZ were well known and very successful on the trials scene. I’ve been honoured in being allowed to take custody of JAZ and intend to get him fighting fit to play on the hills another day… JAZ was always a very pretty trials car but time (and maybe a little abuse) has taken its toll.. he needs lots of love and full recommissioning.
