VW Beetle Gearbox – Believed to be from a 1965 or 1966 (5 Bolt but long axle) car ? – Missing the clutch release arm, un tested but said to be OK.
I am not a fan of selling gearboxes as I haven’t had them apart and can’t see what is going on inside them.
So unless I have driven them it is hard to gauge how good they are and so a strip and maybe rebuild is always recommended although they could be fine.
Gearboxes are sold on this basis.
